The next public session coming up will be Friday September 5th 2008, and will extend from 8 - 10P.

Some of the objects we'll look at will be some nebulae , the moon, and a galaxy or two.

As always, this session is free to everyone and we are always open to look at anything you would like to see. Are you a student on campus that would like to come out to the observatory, but don't have transportation? NO PROBLEM! Hop on the Mast Road Shuttle and ask the driver to drop you off at the observatory! When you want to leave we'll call Transportation services to get the next shuttle passing by to pick you up! During winter parking ban (Dec. 1 - Mar. 31) , the campus shuttle will be operating until 2am every night of the week, so you don't have to worry about missing your ride back to campus. (Note: shuttles only run during the Spring and Fall semesters)

Before you come down to the Observatory, check out the clear sky clock on our weather website to find out what the weather conditions will be like at the observatory.
