History of the New England Fall Astronomy Festival
The New England Fall Astronomy Festival (NEFAF) for 2018 is a GO!
NEFAF is back with another fun-filled weekend under the stars. NEFAF 2018 will take place at UNH Observatory on Friday and Saturday, September 14 & 15, 2018. Our special guest this year will be Dr. Fran Bagenal, a Planetary Physicist from the University of Colorado - Boulder and is a co-investigator and team leader of the plasma investigations on NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto and beyond and the Juno mission at Jupiter. Follow the link below for all of the latest NEFAF information including a program of all of our activities and speakers.
Since its inception in 2011, the New England Fall Astronomy Festival has been offering a unique fun-filled and hands-on educational resource for children and families from the Seacoast and beyond! Hosted by the UNH Physics Department in cooperation with the New Hampshire Astronomical Society (NHAS) and supported by generous sponsors, NEFAF attempts to expose kids to the wonders and possibilities that science and astronomy can offer.
