UNH graduate student Nathaly Santiesteban is presented her award for best seminar from the organizers of the HUGS summer school on June 17, 2016
UNH graduate student Nathaly Santiesteban received the 1st place award for her seminar titled "Dynamic Nuclear Polarization for Nuclear Physics Experiments" at the 31st annual Hampton University Graduate Summer School. Nathaly is performing her Ph.D. work in the UNH Nuclear Physics group. This summer, she attended the month long summer school at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility in Newport News, VA. The polarized target she is helping to develop will be used for several electron scattering experiments that will investigate the tensor structure of atomic nuclei.
